In honour of our connection to our Mi’gmaq roots and Mother Earth, we aim to continuously be innovative when it comes to sustainability and reducing the company’s carbon footprint. As Maya Angelou is famously quoted, “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.” Like a lot of other start-ups, we have a lot of learning and growing to do, but we have sustainability in our roots.
The traditional medicines and other ingredients that we use in the skincare line are grown in a controlled environment to ensure that no external pollutants are exposed to any of the plants we use in our skincare line.
Furthermore, N’tus Skincare and Cosmetics is aiming to re-introduce traditional medicines to heal and to promote a self-love and inclusion mindset. We also want to create a space in the beauty industry that inspires natural beauty and a place where indigenous women, men and youth feel represented and valued.
